Parents and families are an important part of the Brown University experience. Join us on campus for in-person events created with you in mind, or experience the community virtually from wherever you are in the world.

Brown organizes a number of events each year to welcome parents and families to Brown, create special memories with you and your student, and connect you with other Brown families. Here are a few key annual events you won’t want to miss.

Parent and Family Welcome

Parents and family members of newly admitted students are welcome to tour campus, engage with faculty and senior administrators, and meet other families while students begin orientation.

Families are encouraged to join for three days of thoughtful programming and fun, while your student can share with you what their life and daily campus experience looks like.
