Mikele St-Germain
Biography
Mikele St-Germain serves as Brown University’s inaugural Director of Parent & Family Engagement. In this role, she leads a comprehensive strategy dedicated to ensuring families become informed, connected partners in their students’ success.
Collaborating across the Division of Campus Life and the University, Mikele designs the programs, communications, and experiences that guide parents and families while fostering a vibrant sense of community that extends from admission through graduation. Her work is driven by a passion for advancing the role of families in higher education and cultivating inclusive communities that support student success.
Mikele brings over a decade of Brown experience to this position, having previously directed complex campus-wide celebrations and major institutional milestones, including Commencement and the University’s 250th Anniversary. This background sharpened her ability to manage complexity and design meaningful experiences rooted in thoughtful planning and storytelling.
Mikele holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island. Outside of the office, she loves traveling with her two children, whose curiosity and resilience inspire the heart of this work: creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected.
